Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility waiver

On May 29, 2012, the United States Department of Education (USDoE) granted Ohio a waiver on several parts of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). The purpose of this letter is to explain how parts of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility waiver under Title 1, relates to your child’s education.

Parent's Information

Vinton County Local School District is pleased to be able to offer Parent access to grades for those students attending Vinton County High School and Vinton County Middle School. At this time, parent access to grades is not available to students of the Elementary Schools. You can download the Parent Access request form from the Download section below and return it with your child to the school, or you may fax the signed second page to the Technology Coordinator at 740-596-3142.
