COLLEGE VISITS

COLLEGE VISITS CAN BE SCHEDULED ON THE COLLEGE ADMISSION WEBPAGE. ONCE YOU HAVE A DATE CONFIRMED, YOU WILL NEED A COLLEGE VISIT FORM FROM GUIDANCE TO TAKE WITH YOU. 
 
Colleges that will be visiting during 6th period:
Mount Vernon University- September 13
Marietta College- September 18
University of Rio Grande- September 20
Miami University- October 5
 
These representatives will be presenting in Journeys class but any senior is permitted to attend.
 
University of Rio Grande will be hosting a college fair on October 18th. Deadline for signups to attend is September 22nd. Signup via the Google Form that was shared with your senior.

Educational Opportunity

College Visits 

If you will be scheduling a college visit, please remember that you will need to see guidance to receive a college visit form to take with you. This form needs to be completed 48 hours in advance of the visit and must be signed by a representative of the university and returned when you come back to school. 
 
College Fair- The University of Rio Grande will be hosting a college fair with over 75 colleges/universities being available on September 20, 2022. Seniors have been sent a Google form to register for this event. Registration should be completed by September 13th. We will be leaving the high school at approximately 8:50 a.m. with the fair beginning at 10:00. Students must have an Emergency Medical Form with the field trip permission completed and submitted to the office. This is an excellent way to see what colleges/universities have to offer. 
 
October 10- Shawnee State University representative during Advisory
October 28- Marietta College representative during Advisory
 
College Visit- We will be taking interested seniors to visit Shawnee State University on November 8th. Seniors have been sent a Google Form to be completed by November 1. Lunch will be provided by SSU.
