The Vinton County Local School District will be accepting applications for their VC Online Academy for the 4th quarter of the 2024-2025 school year. To be considered for the program, your child must be enrolled in Vinton County Middle or High School for the 2024-2025 School year and return the application by March 5, 2025. The committee will review all applications received to determine eligibility and will contact you with their decision in the days following March 5th. The Vinton County Local Board of Education will hold a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at 307 West High Street, Room 10, McArthur, OH 45651. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss personnel.

**Upon request to the Superintendent, the District shall make reasonable accommodation for a disabled person to be able to participate in this activity.

The District Calendar for the next three school years has been presented to the Board of Education and will be voted on at the Board of Education meeting that will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025. **Note, this is TENTATIVE, pending Board Adoption.

This hybrid program consists of 32 hours of in person training at Buckeye Hills Career Center's Vinton County Aspire and 28 hours of on line learning. Students can earn 2 RiseUP certifications: Retail Industry Fundamentals + Customer Service & Sales. The skills learned in these certifications are applicable no matter what career you'd like to pursue!
