Y.E.V.C - Young Entrepreneurs of Vinton County

yevc
Y.E.V.C. (Young Entrepreneurs of Vinton County) was founded in 2018 by the Teen Entrepreneur class, for students to gain first-hand knowledge of owning and operating a business. Part of this experience includes research and comparison shopping, purchasing, pricing, inventory maintenance, maintaining accounts payable and receivable, advertising, and sales. The school store operates out of Mrs. Harris room and on a mobile cart, with sales during lunch periods.

Mission Statement
The mission of Y.E.V.C. is to provide students with the first-hand experience of preparing and running a fully functioning business. The business ran by Y.E.V.C. will provide students and staff with needed and affordable products. Members will become employees of the business and commit to taking responsibility for its’ operations and have a specific job assigned. Each employee will make a significant effort towards this business, in order to reap any rewards of the income earned for the organization.
