*Ms. Strausbaugh began her service to the Board of Education on April 5, 2001 filling a vacancy left by previous Board Member Maxine Wells. Ms. Strausbaugh completed the remainder of the term until December 31, 2001. She was re-elected and served her first full term between January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2005. On December 12, 2016, Ms. Strausbaugh returned to the Board of Education filling another vacancy left by previous Board Member Terri Price. Winning re-election in 2017, she is now serving another term of service to the Board of Education which expires December 31, 2024. Ms. Strausbaugh currently serves as Vice-President of the Board.

First and foremost; I am the proud mother of three wonderful and accomplished sons; Max (25), Mason (22) and Sam (18), who like myself are lifelong residents of Vinton County and proud graduates of Vinton County High School.  To better detail my skill set that I bring to the district, my education and experience is detailed below;
