Principal's Message

Hello, my name is Brian Thompson and I am excited to introduce myself as the principal at Vinton County West Elementary. I am honored to serve the students, staff, and community at this amazing school.

 

     I have lived in Vinton County my entire life. I am a VCHS graduate and also a graduate of Ohio University. Although this will be my first year as a principal, I have worked in the Vinton County School District for 19 years. 

 

    Along with staff, I will work to foster a safe learning environment with high expectations for academic success. We will continue to establish strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. I anticipate a successful year as the Vinton County West Elementary Staff and I support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your child.
